Dr. Karen has dedicated the past 25 years to become one of the most highly qualified practitioners in the field of General Dentistry in Costa Rica.
Educated in Cuba at Institute of Santiago de Cuba and the Advanced National Program, Dr. Karen moved to Costa Rica and finished her advanced training at the Universidad de Costa Rica. Along with her many skills in general dentistry, she has assisted with Orthodontic care and taught Oral Histopathology at the Holguin School of Medicine.
Dr. Karen’s warm, outgoing personality and care for others is easy to notice after your first conversation with her. Her laugh is infectious and can be heard from one end of the clinic to the other. Her patients adore her and become quick friends for life. Dr. Karen is a joy and she spreads her love for life and for her patients wherever she goes. She is dedicated to providing each patient with an exceptional dental experience.
When not helping her patients prepare for their dental vacation in Costa Rica, Dr. Karen can be found at home with her husband and her dog. You wouldn’t know it…but Dr. Karen is also an avid Mixed Martial Arts competitor and fitness enthusiast. But she’s more likely to give you a big hug…than a chokehold!
